I have portrayed this owl at the end of the day in the rich glow proceeding sunset. White light is made up of all of the colors of the spectrum. On a winter evening, these colors seem to separate and radiate a shimmer of every hue. I have echoed the bounds and curves of the grasses in the form of the bird and the wind-sculpted snow.
